Introduction

Congratulations! You and your group members have been selected to travel to the past and visit the great Mayan Empire. This journey will allow you to analyze and admire the many Mayan outstanding achievements. Your mission is to study how the Mayan people lived.


The Task

Your task for this project is to become an expert on the Mayan culture. You and your group of your classmates will be on a WebQuest to Mexico’s and Guatemala's land to search for information. You will complete a Poster of Information and present it to your class. You will also need to gather information on the following areas: number system, Mayan calendar, writing system, religion and rituals.
